"I've always had a passion for design and style. It's a creative form of self-expression that is so natural to me it feels like it's part of my bones. I love the beauty I can create with metals and gemstones, but especially find fulfillment in seeing the pieces come alive on all kinds of women."
In June 2001 having just completed her MBA at Northwestern University, but felling ambivalent about returning to her business career in Marketing, Vicki Stauber went on her annual summer retreat to a cottage in Wisconsin and there Sway Jewelry was born.
"I find my inspiration in the distinctive way that each of us expresses style and presents herself to the world. From glamorous bohemian icons like Carine Roitfeld or Jade Jagger to the organic beauty of a mother with her baby, I see the fashion of ornamentation as a way of making women positively glow."
The invigoration of constant re-invention informs Sway's pieces.
"I get bored too easily to do the same pieces over and over again- my design imagination needs to be constantly fed to thrive."
